Do you know how to capture GSF calls such that they don't report to Google?

Without arguing whether or not GSF is spyware, my question here is a result
of a recent thread where multiple people suggested free apps that had GSF
incorporated in them when similar free apps did not have GSF in them.

I see no advantage (to the user) of GSF code so I strive for apps sans GSF.
Yet we all have a (supposedly) unique GSF_ID inside our Android platform.

While sporadically I _change_ that supposedly unique GSF_ID, it's a hassle.
<https://i.postimg.cc/X7ZspnsG/gsfid01.jpg> I just changed my GSF ID

I can't be the first person to think of this, so I openly ask the obvious
question of wouldn't it be better to just "entrap" the GSF calls &
automatically send results to /dev/null (or 127.0.0.1, or whatever)?

I'm not the only one caring about GSF given there is a filter to filter it
when installing off the Google Play Store using Google Play Store clients.

Unfortunately my phone isn't rooted (I don't think it can easily be rooted)
and I've almost no experience with whatever open source programs might
"replace" (by entrapment?) the calls made by apps to the official GSF code.

Given that sometimes even I am forced to use an app with GSF code linked
inside it, it behooves us to understand if we can entrap GSF calls safely.

Can we?
How?

Posted out of the goodness of my heart to disseminate useful information
which, in this case, is to learn how to capture GSF calls in a safe way.
