I have a problem with Google Calendar running under Android 11 on my phone
and phablet. I can't find out how to set an annually repeating event for a
day of the month rather than for the *date* - e.g. setting May Day Bank
Holiday for the 1st Monday in May each year or the end of Summer Time for
the last Sunday of October. Can it be done?

I do it by setting a monthly repeat, with 'every 12 months'. Monthly repeat does seem to allow things like 'the 3rd Tuesday' or 'the
last Sunday'.

Thanks for the tip. I saw that elsewhere but it didn't seem to work, but I
since discovered that you have to actually have to have focus set on the
day concerned for it to do so. It's no use, for example, being on May 1st
and trying to write the event ahead for the last Monday in May. It couldn't
be any less user-friendly if they had set out to make it as crazy as
possible on purpose.

Thanks again,
