I have used Edge as my default browser on my Samsung phone, mainly
because of of the way it handles favourites from the toolbar at the
bottom.
Suddenly a Bing chat button has appeared in the middle where the
favourites used to be. I don't like it and although I have tried the
various suggested ways to get rid of it (including those suggested by
the Bing chat itself), I have failed.
Unless I can solve it soon, I may have to return to Samsung Internet
browser, which is very similar, but not quite as neat.
Since all my shortcut icons on the home screen will have to be changed
from Edge to Samsung, it will be a faff. (I know that is not essential,
but two browsers is one too many for me)
Has anyone managed to get rid of the pesky new Bing button?
