Don't insult me because YOU don't know how a usenet search engine works.

The search engine has been discussed on this ng probably hundreds of times.
The search terms refer to an ladb topic which had recently been discussed.

I spoon fed you the search engine.
I spoon fed you the search terms.

You couldn't find anything about local adb using both of them?
I found it easily using that same search engine & those search terms.

How is that subterfuge?

Why don't you learn how to use the most common usenet search engine
instead of trying to insult me because YOU couldn't use a search engine.

In a month, you'll be asking the same questions and giving people the same
wrong answers since the search was discussed hundreds of times already.

Seems someone is posting under my name.
I was alerted by a poster in another group.
Any posts in comp.mobile.android by wasbit previous to today
13/05/2023, are fake.

Apologies to those who this ass**** is trying to deceive.

I don't use this group so previous posts & any further posts under the
name of wasbit will be fake.

Since the forger is also using Eternal-September as yourself, perhaps
you could get his account killed by reporting the forgery. Posting to
ES requires an account unlike other free provders where no account and
no login is required (so those are a huge source of noise since posters
have no account to lose).

http://www.eternal-september.org/index.php?showpage=abuse#Forging

Alas, instead of your identity, ES only considers forgery for when the
address token in the From header is the same.

wasbit #1: wasbit <wasbit@nowhere.com> (*)
wasbit #2: <wasbitREMOVE@hotmail.com> (our troll here)

(*) nowhere.com is a registered domain, and not likely your domain.
Easy to fix by changing .com to .invalid, or using a domain that can
not be registered.

Frank Slootweg suspected the wasbit here was a forger, and I agreed
since the wasbit here is not the one that I remembered regarding
behavior. Perhaps the forger realized you don't inhabit here, and could
forge you without getting caught by you.

After seeing there are two 'wasbit' posters, I was going to define a
filter on the trollish one here. However, I already have a filter on a
wasbit in the alt.comp.freeware newsgroup matching the one here, and
with the comment:

Keeps posting his "what I found today" diary entries.

That's right up there with those that keep redirecting their RSS
newsfeeds into Usenet. Looks like the wasbit from freeware came to
visit here.

Since Google destroyed the author="nym" argument in Google Groups search
to find articles from a particular author (instead of every article that
has the substring in Subject or Body), and because also killed their
Advanced Search page (https://groups.google.com/advanced_search), I
cannot determine which wasbit came first. The one here has definitely
chosen to behave as a troll, so I'll change from filtering him out in
alt.comp.freeware to instead expand the filter across all newsgroups.

Thank you for taking the time & trouble to explain.

Changed & added to my notes for future reference.

I will try reporting the forger if I can find out how.
