The story seems to imply the bike theft was a coordinated, organized, planned heist. But I am kind of wondering why? The bikes stolen are not really marketable on the black market. They are track bikes. No one wants track bikes. They are fancy dandy sort of specialized bikes that everyone connected with track cycling will recognize I am guessing. Not run of the mill bikes that are like thousands of others. So selling the stolen bikes will have to be to very specific people. Not anyone and everyone looking for a bike. And this special buyer, he knows these are special bikes that cannot really be displayed because everyone knows they are stolen. So he will have to keep them locked in a vault all the time. I guess he will get his joy out of owning them even though no one an know he has them or ever see them. Kind of like jewelry that is so rare or expensive that you cannot wear it and risk losing it or having it stolen. So no one knows you even have the jewelry. Not sure their is much benefit to having jewelry that can never ever be worn or seen by anyone at all.

So I'm not really sure why the crooks stole these bikes. Not that crooks are all that reasonable. I suspect they steal anything and everything without much thought at all.

The first link has a picture of track bikes and a story about track bikes being stolen. Track bikes do not have any brakes at all. Rim or disc. No brakes. Nor derailleurs or multiple cogs either. And the second link has a picture of some Shimano pedals. Are you extra delusional today Tommy?

The pictures in the link were for fancy track bikes. One more time your delusions caused you to make up and see imaginary things.
