So the driver of the jeep removes the bicyclist to the sidewalk and then drives away after having run over his head. Will that be considered to be a hit and run accident too?

I guess the fellow who got out of the car and hit the bicyclist can be charged with hit and run to as could the driver. Also, can the driver be charged with being an accessory to the too crimes? #1. Assault by his passenger and #2. leaving the scene.

About minding one's business: While I admit there's risk in it, I've
done something similar in a parking lot. Some jerk sitting in a car
threw a paper fast food bag out his window as I walked by. I immediately
threw it back in his window.

I don't think idiots should be free of public scorn or negative feedback.

Well, I was trying to be less then blunt, but if anyone believes that
a jeep can run over a person's head without doing severe damage to the
skull bones he obviously also believes that pigs can fly.

Only John can believe a media report without question that video doesn't show a THING about what happened and only some moron could ramble on about it like you John. And why didn't you answer my question about the fire control system in a B50. If you were a crew chief you HAD to be able to take bug reports and pass them on to the relevant shops and they would have to clear them through the crew chief, so why is it that you don't even seem to know what a fire control system is?

Whatever are you going on about. The reference (above) carried the
headline, "Video shows bicyclist attacked, then saved by helmet when a
Jeep runs over his head in Edgewater", seems clear enough that even
you should be able to understand it.

But, "you HAD to be able to take bug reports"??? What ever are you
going on about. Were you actually in the Air Force? I ask as problems
with aircraft are listed as "Discrepancy" on the Form 781A, and that's
what we called them? Did you "3 Level" apprentices use a different
word? Perhaps not knowing what a "Discrepancy" was is the reason that
you never got promoted.
