He got caught out when I wrote about my Laverda which I used in Germany to go to the opera in the smaller cities on the B roads. He claimed that he walked off the street , a total stranger, and the owner of a large racing Laverda, a very, very rare and expensive bike, let him take it apart. He also claimed to have two large, exceedingly expensive touring bikes, one of them a BMW.

One looks not only at the number of books I published, but who the publishers are, how many languages my books were translated into, how long in print, how may editions, how many reissues in paperback or e-books, what the range of my subjects is, how the critics received my books, how other professionals in my various professions received and prescribed my books in their particular fields, and so on. These clowns get it it wrong every time.
