Don't you think that is sort of silly except for pro time trialists? It isn't as if designing a button is difficult. I much prefer the Shimano idea of wireless - a large battery wired to the derailleurs and the shifters only battery powered and with a transmitter in them. This transmitter mechanism can easily be made as a single chip since the range is less than 6 feet and then could be placed anywhere.

But why? Pro's probably could argue that it is handy to be able to maintain a tuck but most normal riders couldn't.
