Gee, here I am 20 miles short of 600 miles for the year while Russy and Flunky are busy posting to Google Groups. Jeffy and John don't ride and Frank only rides anymore when his wife can do all the work.

I must say that is a very admirable group of Google posters. You might even say "real cyclists".

The people I ride with are more and more getting too nervous to ride on anything other than bike trails so I've been trying not to ride off from them. And I managed to break my Bontrager helmet today as the wire adjustment managed to cut it's way through the frame of the adjusting mechanism. So I bought a new one. When you ride as much as I do and fall over at a dead stop so often, being without balance, it is good to have something in between your head and the pavement.

So Trek sold me another iridescent yellow helmet. And I get to continue laughing at the munchkins that post here with such low IQ's and such high opinions of themselves.

Pretty good. You are averaging about 15 miles per day. On pace to obtain about 5500 miles total for the year. Frequent cycling, getting out 4-5-6 times a week for a ride, no matter how short or long, does contribute to better health and distance accumulation.
