Went out to my older brother's birthday dinner last night. The Ciappino did not sit well in by stomach so I was in no condition to ride today and turn over 700 miles. I couldn't even do the 21 miles to turn the corner. I imagine that they have so little business that food is spoiling. And it is difficult to tell with seafood.

Biden and Gavin Loathsome have destroyed California. There was the one table of the three brothers and their wives and another couple in the other room in a restaurant that used to be the most popular dinner restaurant in Castro Valley. Today a breakfast for two is $40+. That is why that communist Kragowski is saying that we need "equal distribution" of money in the US. Let's hear his complaints by the end of Biden's Presidency when his college retirement won't buy him a loaf of bread. Kragowski's own leftist political beliefs are destroying his life and he can['t admit it.

Last night the forecast said the rain would start at noon. This morning it
said 2:30 and by the time I left at noon, I said the rain would start at
4:30 PM. By the time I got to the meeting place, the rain started and
continued for about half the ride. Aren’t forecasts supposed to get better
as you get closer to the forecast time?

Last Sunday I did about that and it was so cold that I didn't sweat at all despite 500 meters of climbing with up to 12%. The previous Sunday it was so hot that when I got home my gear was sopping wet. It is supposed to rain a little on Tuesday so I still might not get past 700 miles until later in the week. Though I might take the gravel bike out. You know the one, the Cannondale Optima with 38 mm knobbies that the loud noises here said was a pure road bike. I was sort of surprised that I needed zero time to get used to the 9 speed Dura Ace
