My wife is bringing a friend over to stay the night. She drove out to Modesto yesterday so that they could catch up and she will be back with her today. Then tomorrow she will fly directly to Boston I believe it is. So I thought it best to do all of the important yard work today. I started at 8:00 and got the front and left side done. The Green bin is now full so this was a good place to stop. Wednesday I can do some more as all of that grass dries and shrinks giving me room to add more.

As tired as I am now I assume it is a good cycling exercise. It is getting to be Century season so people will be coming around from all over to do the local centuries. And I haven't trained for a Century yet. Usually it is a matter of getting my butt in shape to sit on the saddle that long but just a metric a week before solves that problem. I will do one of the Centuries on my C50 and the next on my Trek Alpha which seems to fit a little better for some reason. Saddle height and reach are the same so I will one day have to look deeper into it. But maybe it has resolved itself since I dropped the C50 saddle 1/2" before the fateful ride with my heart attack friend. My hands didn't seem to hurt when I dropped the hammer to get back to my car and go pick up Will's bike. With any luck the lower seat position helped that.

My hands are too big for most XL gloves and I'll have to find some XXL. Finding the right sizes is always a pain.
