And as late as the mid 1960s everybody who crossed the Southern Ocean and made passage around Cape Horn had tubes in both their nav and their emergency radios, proven gear; it wasn’t just me, I was merely copying my elders, and government advice for the Cape to Rio races was not to trust your life to devices that would crack the moment they saw an iceberg.

You should consider that these ruined threads, and such mindless perversity with facts says more about you than about him. And most of all, the fact that Tom is standing up and saying precisely what he wants to say whenever he wants to say it, tells the world everything there is to know about your incompetence as censors and gatekeepers. All this nastiness has achieved … zero except to make you look even limper than you are, even more spiteful than you would like to be remembered, petty totally beyond belief, and above all too stupid to learn from experience.

Your mindless aggression extends well beyond your brainpower, (S)Eaton. Tom said nothing of the sort, and I doubt he’ll fall into your clumsy attempt to trap him into a nasty, spiteful controversy. Not everyone is as stupid as you.

On our B52D, the terrain avoidance computer (TAC) was transistor because the military had unlimited funding at that time and transistor designers were exceedingly rare.

Then I would go home and try it myself probably starting at 7 years old.

If you kept your mouth shut, (S)Eaton, people wouldn’t discover several times every day that you’re a sub-lowest-common denominator fool. I have no difficulty in believing that Tom did electronics experiments starting at 7. At 5 I could speak and write and read a couple of dozen languages, and nobody thought it remarkable, except when it was discovered, when I had to be sent to school, that I hadn’t bothered to learn either of the country’s official languages.

You've mentioned that previously. What would you suggest as a
dividing line between "splitting hairs" and being totally wrong,
lying, fabricating information, faking job experience, and pretending
to be someone important? Fact checking Tom is difficult because he
provides few facts that can be easily verified. However, he does make
a substantial number of technical, factual, and numerical errors that
cast considerable doubt on his claims and competence. Fact checking
these details might be considered splitting hairs, but they are also a
key part of determining if the author is sufficiently competent to
expound on things that might not be considered hair splitting. The
devil is in the details.

Showing yet more ignorance, because he has to, Russell somehow invents my saying that guitarist had to design their own amps when ALL guitar and bass and even piano amplifiers were built by only a couple of companies and were all tube amplifiers. Fender was the most common. I suppose that when even today Fender makes tube amps that somehow it is unusual to the idiots on the far stupid left.

Maybe*, but he certainly wasn't designing tube amps.

Wow, that's right up there with "I was designing tube amps before transistors were invented".

So, to be clear, you were taught to read and write 24 different languages by the age of 5, but the endemic languages weren't amoungst them.....sure skippy. Save that bullshit for your next fiction novel. You can put it right before the claim that you evaded two south african hit squads, you were plagiarized by someone from RBT, and you're the administrator of an on-line writers forum with 30K members.

The oh-so-many lies of andre jute.

* I don't believe for a femtosecond that tommy performed any experiments at the age of seven other than making animal shapes out of his poop.

I can agree with you on that, we have out hands full with you and sparky.

The really scary part about this is a large segment of the population are followers. The politician know this and they used that to turn the public against Trump using things like Twitter and Facebook bots and Elon Musk has now discovered. I don't think he should have been surprised since anyone who could think could see that the pandemic was never a pandemic and that there was massive misrepresentation from the CDC. Tiny numbers of people were killed from Sars-Cov-2 but massive amounts were killed from from the lockdowns and the result of them. But those excess deaths were presented as covid-19 rather than the real reasons.

But the population is now tired of fear of an invisible foe and are realizing that they've been played like dice. While it is normal for the party in power to lose seats in the later elections I don't think that the Democrats are ready for this massive reversal. I have been sent a booklet by the local Democrat Party people on how to recognize election fraud and how to turn it over to authorities. Even the normal Democrats are fed up beyond belief.. The local party has been forced to become honest because the change of people from Democrat to Republican has been massive.
