I am quite curious about the very idea of an E-bike. Even California is predicting rolling blackouts and something is surely going on since I get up in the morning to see that my computer has been power cycled. If we can't even keep a very low current draw computer going what gives anyone the idea that somehow electric vehicles are somehow going to magically charge themselves?

And doesn't it completely change the entire idea of a bicycle being used for exercise? I don't know about you but if this trend continues there will be nothing left by E-bikes and $15,000 top line bicycles. Committing genocide of the bicycle business as it were seems to me to be even less pleasing that a growth in a portion of the business.
