It's not real though. To give you an idea, some of the coldest days in
the history of my city have been recorded recently and this year's
winter extended into the late weeks of April. If _warming_ is real then
we wouldn't be seeing such glacial conditions and NASA wouldn't be
warning us of an impending _Ice Age_ like they did in 2018
<https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/weather-forecast-nasa-cold-temperatures-16818851>.
Of course, their predictions routinely change and the common denominator
is _sun_ activity. The less active the _sun_ is, the more likely an ice
age becomes and the inverse is true.

Dried greenery always caught fire. The difference is that people used to
anticipate forest fires and made the appropriate preparations for it.
However, states like California have now banned such preparations and
created the conditions for those forest fires

Add to that the scum of Antifa that the dickhead known as chrisv, the
human blob known as vallor and the Prescott Parasite defend who
routinely _SET_ criminal fires all over Oregon to blame climate change.

Don't forget that British Columbia is home to some of the most deranged
leftists and they would stop at nothing to enforce their agenda. There
is no one life or amount of lives that they are not willing to sacrifice
to ensure that their Communist utopia comes to fruition.

It's not only the states. 60 years of aggressive fire suppression by the
Forest Service has left the forests full of fuel. I was hiking off trail
Saturday and wished I'd brought my Becker Campanion. It's going to be in
the 100s this week and if all that undergrowth dries out the August fire
season will be a pisser.

Dumbshit. Are you a scientist? You don't know your ass from a hole
in the ground. What "glacial conditions", and how do they compare
with the heat waves and the droughts?

Someone would have to be pretty fscking stupid to be fooled by the
right-wing simpleton "logic" that shows that warming can't be "real".

Sheesh!

Slime's right-wing propaganda source twists what "a NASA scientist"
said into the *lie* that "NASA predicts Ice Age" related to cyclicle
sunspot activity. These are *short term effects*, even *if*, as the
article says, "the current trends (of 2018) continue".

Here's what NASA is *really* warning us about:

I think that is either a mistake or a lie; however it is obvious that you
have not yet understood the difference between *global* *climate* (a
*global*, *long-term* development) and *local* *weather* (a *local*, *short-
term development*). You are ill-equipped to even discuss this subject until
you do.

You also have not yet understood how Usenet works: that there are
newsgroups, one for each topic, and one only posts to the one newsgroup
where a discussion is on-topic; and if that is not possible, that one sets
Followup-To to that one newsgroup. Also, that people with fantasy names are
usually not taken seriously on Usenet, in particular in science groups
(those whose name start with “sci.”). You are ill-equipped to discuss on
Usenet (in science groups) until you have understood that.

I fail to see the logic in that statement. Are you actually claiming that
wildfires have not been allowed to spread (“aggressive fire suppression”),
and that *that* would be the main reason that there are more wildfires now
than before?

If so, it could not be farther from the truth: As any forest service
specialist will tell you, wildfires happen because there is inflammable
material *and* surface temperatures are *too high* for too long a time in a
row *or* there is carelessness by common people (like making campfires in
the woods, especially on already hot days).

In the present climate crisis, the aforementioned carelessness by common
people is not necessary anymore: it is simply *too hot* for *too long*.
