would those cosmic energies arriving at a BH
counter Hawking evaporation?
Rays are EM wave energy and particle energy...
That come from everywhere...
BH are not special. They are not protected
from new energy from space.

CMBR EM energy is together with the cosmic ray energy...
The first EM light and cosmic rays participate in the
strength of gravity by different quantities arriving for the gravity
field.

Roy, as long as the CMBR "temperature" exceeds the "temperature"
equivalent of a black hole, the black hole will gain in mass, even if
isolated. It is not until the very distant future where the CMBR
"temperature" is lower than that of the black holes that they would lose
mass by Hawking radiation. And even then, the process is
SLOOOOOWWWWWWW... You would know that if you were smart enough to
Google it, but you're too afraid of the internet bias boogeyman...

And there is more than CMBR.
All energy will still build the BH gravity.
Cosmic ray energy will do the same thing.
