Lori Lightfoot was elected for no other reason than she checked all of the boxes - Woman of Color with a Native American Name. She's probably a lesbian as well. That is enough to get her elected in Chicago. Since we now have public school students being exposed to sexual perverts by order of the American Teacher's Union, and an entire medical business of sex change operations to children of minor age DESPITE objections of their parents, how many lives do you suppose these lunatics are willing to destroy to meet their goals of forcing their twisted beliefs upon the population of the USA. And all of this at the whim of George Soros so that he can make money off of a failed USA monetary system.

In fairness, Richie Daly was actually a cyclist and I
believe he had some sincere intent to make cycling better in
Chicago.

He even went off on a rant at a City Council meeting after
he danced with death on a right hook:

I imagine that back east is like here - there are far too many illegals driving around that do not know the rules of the road nor even care to. But I would think that at the very least when they do something like this in front of a cop they should at least get a ticket. But here they aren't.

Not every project works out. Sometimes the government spends money on
what seems like a good idea but the demand for the service isn't there.
With the pandemic and remote-working, the need for such a facility is
much lower now. The pandemic has resulted in some long-term changes that
were unintended, some good, some bad.

Most commuters in my area would not use such a facility since a) the
weather here is so mild that they don't work up a sweat commuting, or b)
their company provides those facilities on-site.
