I had breadfruit the other day. It was delicious, tasting a bit like yucca. They mash it a bit but I couldn't tell if there were any other ingredients. I wonder why it is not served in the mainland?

Reminds me of strawberries. They figured out how to manage that. I read one web page that says it can be stored for up to two weeks by dipping in wax.
