Why do you suppose the stupid six carry on? Not one of them have any significant accomplishments and I have dozens of them up to and including the fact that you cannot be admitted to an emergency hospital without them using an instrument I designed and programmed or later generations of them to monitor or even maintain your survival.

Can you just imagine someone as stupid as say Slocumb who had so little on the ball that they could only make him a crew chief which was an important sounding job that they gave to morons who had no real capacity to do anything and so handed them an grandiose title instead. Can you imagine him reading the aircraft log and calling dozens of skilled people because he has no skills of his own? Oh, wait, his skill was the ability to read. Though I can plainly picture him calling the wrong specialist.

Having my Internet connection back and not having to read his blithering as I did when I was stuck using my smart phone is almost miraculous.

We've already noted the rest of the stupid six - a man who presented himself as a mechanical engineer who actually taught industrial engineering which is rather lower on the totem pole, a man who presented himself as an accountant that couldn't understand simple math, a politician who claimed that he was a registered Republican and was so far to the left that he was elected for one term and not even mentioned thereafter. Another man frightened to post under his own name though so egotistical that he is little more than a clown and another who actually bragged about having an education which he never used!

Now this is a bicycle group and ALL including these are welcome but they would certainly be more welcome if they talked about things they actually had some experience with rather than a continuous assault on those who actually have been successful.

People whose last ride was months ago an a mile long have no place arguing about racing with people who race or climbing with people who climb or riding long distances with those who do.

So if the stupid six wish to hang around, you're certainly welcome to, but stop with the criticism of people who actually ride or race or actually repair or build bikes.

The average Dutch amateur race has higher top speeds than American pro races so when Lou is talking about them it isn't your place to tell him he doesn't know what he's talking about.

I was part of the scene that invented off-road riding so do not tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. Although it was quite a drive away I did ride Repack with the likes of Bontrager and Ritchey. I have an entire sack full of Bontrager caps that Keith gave to me when he sold out his name to Trek. My last MTB was a Trek HiFi full suspension bike and while it had a lot going for it, weight was its sore spot. I could climb faster than most people on full suspensions locally but that was still slow and I returned to CX bikes as much faster on the loops I did. Having people that never rode a full suspension bike telling me about them just sounds silly.

Since I recovered from my concussion in the last 10 or so years I have put in a half million miles. Someone that is afraid of traffic needn't tell me how I should ride on the road.

So, you guys are welcome to the group but as part of the group and not as some sort of vigilante group that thinks that they can correct others by citing Google.

Good for you, Tom. This scum is worthless:

There is room for winners and losers all on an equal footing if they would stop pretending to be experts on matters they don't understand. Slocumb must be in his 90's and pretends to know something merely by quoting Google articles which often do not understand any more than Wikipedia articles written by 18 year old's.
