The energy that fell in to form it.
And there is stronger gravity inside.
Those are some things we can know
about it's gravity strength and energy
physics...

Why does space not contract
all of the way at the event horizon
like time does?

for me to know and for you to ask. The horizon is a fictitious boundary,
not solid. Actually not a boundary in this aspect.

Afaict, they should be able to store the information from things falling
into it. As if they get encoded into the BH itself.

How does an atom contain data?
If atomic fermions fall in and reach
the center they have to become Bosons
and sit on top of one another...
