leaving it would speed the time rate back up...
The same happens with a space ship that
has to accelerate to get to its destination
and then decelerate to land at another
planet. Time goes slow and then can
speed back revealed by Gamma.

not so, the time lost in gravity is lost, you cannot bring that back.
There is no negative gravity. That's a feature of the manifold.
