Probably rare, but...

I had various useful USB connector cables dangling from a crossbar, in front
of a JBL LSR305 speaker (no grill). The tweeter magnet sucked one of them
into the tweeter dome.

Seems to be no lasting damage.

Hard to do damage between those ears. Nothing to damage. That was all
done by your mother decades ago.

Ummm... dangling something while naked in front of loudspeakers might
be considered indecent exposure, even with a metal codpiece. I
suggest you keep your privates, private.

>Seems to be no lasting damage.

I'm sure the speaker will survive your assault. I'm not so sure about
your dangling private parts. Try a non-metallic protective metal cup
when working with magnets:

That's what I use to capture my danglers.

Danmit Janet!

It's just a jump to the left...

Non-metallic metallics is the future!

We've got 'em right where they want us!

I wonder where Jane Doe got the homophobia from. Presumably she's gay (even though she hasn't told us that) and confuses resentment of her idiocy with contempt for her sexuality. This is sci.electronics.design and most of us don't care who goes to bed with whom, provided that they don't waste our time by peddling their silly ideas here - and the doughnut is a little too fond of doing that.
