Agreed. Yesterday we were at a birthday celebration for a couple cycling
friends, a pretty big event. Lots of food, but no tea. I had half a cup
of coffee, my first in a long, long time. I normally drink coffee only
if we're out of battery acid.

Apparently the caffeine content of tea varies greatly. 40mg per cup is
less than the black tea I prefer.

My grandmother told us all that the secret to long life was to sprinkle a
pinch of gunpowder on your oatmeal each morning.

She did this religiously and lived to the age of 103.

She left behind 14 children, 30 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, five

formulas were originally intended to extend life and cure various
ailments. That seemed to work until someone tried "cooking" the
gunpowder formulation, with predictable results. Those who survived
the cooking experience may well have lived long lives. Less so for
