Many stores, here, have a policy that FULLY vaccinated individuals need not
wear masks, indoors. About 55% of people, here, are fully vaccinated.
So, one would think that ROUGHLY half of the people in a store should
still be wearing masks. Yet, the majority (90+% based on first-hand

The low character electorate that keeps on voting them in has a lot to answer for. When the politicians won't spend money on a decent primary and secondary education system you've got an intractable problem.

The US constitution dates back to before universal education was economically feasible, and US primary and secondary education is still paid for by tiny school districts, which may have something to do with the persistence of gross economic inequality in the US.

were/are likely bogus. At some modest infection rates and high pcr
cycle counts, false positives exceed actual infections.

John's reasoning wasn't sound. It's unlikely that the Covid tests were actually bogus.

High pcr count cycles don't generate false positives. There is a modest error rate in the chain reaction, but they produce random errors, and won't produce enough of the specific Covid-19 protein fragments to generate a false positive.

That someone would have been one of the clown who think that people infected with Covid-19 exhale clouds of discrete isolated Covid-19 virus particles..

They exhale much bigger droplets of saliva and mucus that happen to carry Covid-19 virus particles. The masks are designed to catch those droplets (and the Covid-19 virus particles carried along in them).

This has been explained repeatedly here, but John Larkin doesn't like explanations that leave him looking silly, so he keeps on posting silly misconceptions, which makes him look even sillier.
