White people produced the Indian massacre and Indian slavery. The missions along the California coast were slave plantations. Instead of growing cotton they raised cattle using American Indians as slaves. The American Indian slaves were torture, beaten and killed if they did not comply which is well documented. The missionaries were run by Catholics priests that feed the Indians slaves using pig troughs. Alexander Humboldt bought Indian slaves from Humboldt county and ship them and sold them to the Southerner California missionaries and told the people that they were being educated in the missions when in fact they were forced into slavery. Humboldt then bought the leather from each of the mission plantains using glass beads and trinkets and sailed back to Europe and sold the leather for a handsome profit and bought more glass beads, trinkets and burlap then return over and over and became rich.
