Do common sense tell us, 1) how stars should shine? No.
Do it tells us 2)how muons should decay? No.

It does tell us, however, 3)how our clocks should indicate
time.

Why 3, but not 1 or 2. The answer is as simple as it is
obvious. in 1 and 2 "should" is what we're expecting.
In 3 it is what we can (but don't have to) do.

Slow time is real... and it can speed back up....
