you can overshoot zero by a subtraction;
but that does not apply. Just as the
Mandelbrot set leaves out its overshot
quantities that don't apply.
Man has his absolute zero.
Negatives are only subtractions
with the zero limit... that is where
No more subtraction applies.

You can, however, obtain:

0 -1 = -1
-1 - 1 = -2
and so on.

at zero and first quantity...
first is the last to be subtracted from...
