A friend just posted elsewhere about the "Christmas comet." First time
I've heard about it. Is there one, where, and is it bright enough for
worthy observation? Thanks.

Comet Leonard.

It is just about naked eye visible somewhere much lower then Venus and
from the UK now almost under Saturn. If we are very lucky it may still
get brighter. If only the fog would lift I might see it!

Might work but may well show it for London UK.

The prospect of such a bright comet sents social media into a

social media is composed of a lot of mouth-breathers who don't understand
what they are talking about and/or simply assign some astrological significance to it.
