You seem to be using Google Groups. If so, you should know (1) that
Google does not own Usenet and has no control over what gets posted;
(2) that Google never pays the slightest attention to spam reports.

If you don't like what carl eto and thor stoneman post then change to a
proper newreader that allows killfiling and then killfile them.

Already use one, with my personal scripts (autoblock all new users that has a certain name pattern, etc).
But I do get to see their existence within the replies of idiots who stroke them [the trolls]. This is why I incite

The latter is unfortunately true. Note, however, that in Usenet such
reports need to be directed to the provider of the offender, not that of the
reader. It just happens that in this particular case at least both Usenet
providers (which need not also be the Internet Service Providers) are the
same.

Only after the aforementioned possibility has been considered and rejected,
or has been used and has not lead to the desired result, such a measure can
be recommended.
