She would of grown up between the wars and been a teen during the 2nd World
war, with rations and reduced choices for a while after that.

Which has been claimed to be a very good diet, but I suspect being active
will have helped plus being luckily with the gene pool!

Thanks, never knew the term before. I get it.

Here, every diner has some variant of that called 'farm
breakfast' with a half million calories, enough to split
logs for ten hours in cold weather. They sell that to desk
jockeys.

She must have been a very impressive lady, but I'd never heard of her.
Fact is the only bicycle pesonalities I ever heard of were Sheldon
Brown and Lance Armstrong. Sheldon, because I was looking for
information, and Lance, because he was in the news.

I used to love a big breakfast. I can't do it any more. Usually, I
have a banana for the muscle cramps, and a granola bar for the carbs.
On bike riding mornings, I replace the granola bar with oatmeal, and I
take the granola bar and a protein shake with me on the ride.

Wiki helped with her too. I was never enough of bike nut to get
interested in other bike riders and their exploits.

Working class areas such as east london where targeted as well that’s where
london industrial areas where, such as the docks and so on

Uk was fairly broke after so some areas where left for quite some time plus
this was times with idea that the car was king, and so elevated walkways
with the street only for cars, and so on just after the war.
