Odd Bodkin doesn't use a single word by accident.
Every single word Odd Bodkin uses... he uses intentionally.

Starmaker is correct. I noticed Bodkin's lawyerly choice of words and rhetorical practices years ago. Does anyone else use these methods when discussing Ohms Law, the Maxwells, Newton's prodigious output, Kepler, Boyle, Dalton? I wonder if at night, as Bodkin lays in bed watching the inside of his eyelids, does he ever wonder why sooooo much rhetoric to defend his chosen "science"? The science he, and Dono, and Prokary, and Dirk, etc....believed in long before they ever studied it for the first time.

Ahh! There is my spoon....

Read any post posted by the odd bodkin and you can see
he doesn't use a single word by accident..
and every single word he uses... he uses intentionally.

Air tight.

But, if he makes a mistake...with one word...like for example:

hardwood and heartwood, then he goes BONKERS
tryin to correct it
when no one else cares.

He cares because some air got through.

Here is an example of that post:

>> Well, not every table. Only a very nice, very large, very well built, very
>> ornate table. With 18 chairs. Made from hardwood beech and West African
>> ebony. That one I charged $12,000 for.

then he comes back when he realizes some air went through..

>Sorry, that’s heartwood beech. Autocorrect’s too anxious

He blames it on "Autocorrect’s".

Anyone using the 'scientific method' will find that error is simply NOT repeatable.

There is no spell autocorrect checker in the world that would replace the word 'heartwood' too "hardwood".

Not even an anxious one...

Does God make mistakes?

Sorry, that’s Does Odd make mistakes? Autocorrect’s too anxious

Hmm...looks like the Starmaker is a bit of a lawyer too, when it comes to issue spotting.

I don’t know why you all think I spend a lot of time crafting and
recrafting words.

This isn’t that difficult. If you are finding yourself intimidated on some
way with my language or sentence structure, maybe the situation is your own
lack of care in what you say.

Ohh! A Freudian slip there!

I bet 100$ that someone "intimidated" by Bodkin (AKA Paul Draper) beat the crap out of him
in high school or college.

Paul, I mean Bodkin, is a natural born charlatan, like the Einstein guy he admires so much.

Language use and sentence structuring is a fine art used by those who craft words (not wood) to charm audiences.

Isn't it, Paul? I mean Bodkin?

Richard, please lay your evidence before this forum demonstrating that Bodkin is this Drapper fellow. Please keep in mind that Bodkin has been in his 40s since 2004. First Sylvia, then Dono and now Bodkin! This whole dreamscape is falling apart. Not sure I can take anymore outings. But I have wondered who is the most famous person hiding behind a nom de plume in this forum.

Interesting! What can you tell about Gono and Sylvia?

About Bodkin, it's a settled thing. I even ask him to sign my book "God or Blind Nature? Philosophers Debate the Evidence".

He refused. His fame made him a "prima donna".

So you've met Bodk...um...I mean Draper? I thought Draper was actually Dick Whitman (or was that Don Draper)

My lips are sealed on Dono and Sylvia. I don't care to think of them any other way than I do now. Someone--perhaps you--conjured up a reptilian form for Dono. Funny, that's how I picture him too. Kind of a Gollum-esque creature hunched over his keyboard, wringing his long claw-like hands, trying to figure out something to type that will retrieve his "precious" (SR) from those of us who own it now.

I have an image of Sylvia which I will keep to myself.

Bodkin I see as many others do--a ponderous fellow, bearded, bespectacled, maybe a pipe, living in a log cabin with wood chips for a floor, eating his meals from a wooden bowl and spoon...sort of an overgrown hobbit, surrounded only by books and a laptop, no other technology. His timepiece on a chain in his vest pocket. I see him typing his many posts these days from the seat in his log outhouse, no door, trousers around his ankles.

Starmaker is some ethereal spirit hovering over this forum like a guarding angel. But not necessarily a good guarding angel. I suspect he may actually be the most famous person here. But I haven't a clue who that might be.

We've all seen Dirk on his website. I think I saw a picture of professor Paul A. Anderson too, years ago. He looked like Benny in ABBA as I recall.

I could go on...Ross Finlayson would be right out of Dickens. But I'll stop here. I of course welcome my own comparison.

No, I didn't meet him. I, as many, have his email and send a request. Never replied.

Gono, as I'm calling it now (for gonorrhea) is easy to depict. I already posted one selfie:

She's the judging silent owl, but beware when she's hungry. No rodents in 100 yards survive.

Not at all. Among his frequent freudian slips (he talks/write too much), a couple of months ago he complained that his feet hurt because
he had been standing all day. Who do that? A woodworker or a lecturer in front of a captive audience? Read about Paul's life on his site.
The man is doing passionate lectures about philosophy, religion and science even to Pentagon's staff! He's a workaholic, have no rest.
But likes to use expensive suites. The man is loaded with what he charges to the assholes he lectures.

Paul is declining. He was an active force here for more than 12 years, with a heavy monthly production of posts. Probably now is tired,
thinking IF being a fanatic relativist really did pay off. The same with Roberts and Dork vin muuurtel (or whatever his name is).

> I could go on...Ross Finlayson would be right out of Dickens. But I'll stop here. I of course welcome my own comparison.

I don't want to picture Mitch or Moroney (probably fat, short and bold close to 60).

Really, Pat, this is a fucking zoo!

That’s fascinating. You have posts from me on this group in 2004? Got a
link?

You also have a link to a post of me stating I was in my 40s in 2004?

I’m really curious about me now. Do tell.

Of course you do.

Where’s that contradiction in the Lorentz transform that comes from solving

Yup, still obsessed with the Purdue professor.

Now, given that, isn’t it interesting how much time you spend condemning
physicists and praising electrical engineers to a professor of philosophy
of religion?

The reason is...
the odd bodkin spent more
years in college learning
sci.physics.relativity
than
albert einstein spent
in the patent office.

In other words, if you spent 13
'straight years' in college
learing only
sci.physics.relativity
you have nothing else to defend.

How many free newsservers are there for posting in sci.physics.relativity? 2?

The man was also opinionated about personal computers and microprocessors history since late '80s.

I don't want to copy&paste his post in another usenet forum, just to avoid his embarrassment. I have pity too.

Bodkin character project his hate towards engineers, because he wanted to be one and failed. Too much of a charlatan.

I'll going to give Paul, I mean Bodkin, a break. He receives flak for trying to fly too high.

That is my weekend project, Bodkin, now that I find the leaking antifreeze is neither from my thermostat job or a failing water pump. It's just overflow from my refill.

Bodkin I am naming my v derivation "The Bodkin Equalities" in your honor.

Watch it, Pat! You're letting yourself to be affected by the Bodkin Effect!

Your overflow is an spillover. Spillover Effect refers to the tendency of one person's emotion to affect how other people around them feel.
If you are equating Bodkin Effect to the Spillover effect, he's gaining traction on your mind!

Body snatching can follow! Beware of Bodkin, we still don't know if the same mothership that brought Gono also brought this another
alien lifeform. Be suspicious as his M.O. is to work onto your mind, until it spillover with words!
