Inverter MOSFET shorted and fuse blew on LG 32LK450-UB.
Does anyone know if the inverter board from LG model 32LK330 or others will work?
Board numbers are the same: VIT71884 but eBay pictures show different population of MOSFETs.
Thank you.

There are two versions.  The one with more mosfets is backwards compatible with the one that has less population.  Now, the one with less mosfets will probably work, but for how long it's hard to say.  FWIW, the same board was used in other brands such as RCA and Sceptre, so you could search on those brands for the same board.

I use this TV as a monitor.
The one with fewer mosfets lasted many, many years.
The used boards on eBay seem quicker/less expensive to source than the actual components so I will probably go that route.
There are different serial numbers [SKUs?] on a stick on label.
19.31T09.05 is what I have but others end in 06, 08, etc.
Any likely difference?

Thank you.

Most likely no difference.   Those 19xx numbers are usually differentiating running changes made during production which may not have a different LG service part number.  If yours has the fewer mosfets, then either will work.

I order the replacement from ElectroPartsOnline on Wednesday and it was delivered to Hawaii on Saturday!  $14.50 total.
Unit has a stock date of 2015 so it may have been pulled 7 years ago.
Works fine.
Even though all the numbers match, replacement contacts slipped into the matching sockets much easier than the original.  The PC board is a tad slimmer. I shimmed with bits of paper to get a snugger fit.
This was defintely quicker and easier than waiting for replacement MOSFETs.

Make sure the contacts are indeed tight on every single connection as there is high voltage there - any resistance and it will arc eventually.  When I ran across that, I often would just flow a thin puddle of solder on the lands and deflux thoroughly.   BTW, there is an outside chance you have a lazy lamp inside the display - and by outside I mean a long-shot.  Lazy lamps occur on high hour displays. Weak lamps will cause over-voltage at the transformers and could damage the new board.  Most times a weak lamp will just trigger the OVP on the inverter board and cause back light shutdown with no damage, but look out for it.  A lazy lamp is often pinkish when first turned on, so on a cold start, put it on a snowy dead input and see if there is a slight off-color band across the screen.
