https://www.cyclingweekly.com/news/canyon-goes-titanium-german-bike-company-begins-prototype-work-with-new-metal

What I see is that Canyon is beginning to worry about the liability from making frames from materials that offer no advantage for racing over aluminum or titanium.

Mark's making a new buy of titanium shows that he has been considering this same problem for awhile.

Funny, neither that article or any other article discussing Canyon's Ti program mention anything about liability of carbon frames. In fact, the Bicycle Retailer article "https://www.bicycleretailer.com/product-tech/2023/03/28/canyon-begins-prototype-work-sustainable-titanium-manufacturer#.ZCVWP3bMJD-) specifically discusses sustainability and low-carbon processes.

As usual, what tommy sees is rather far removed from reality.
