All of the conversations are being covered in the muck of the stupid 4. Why do you suppose that Flunky hasn't been bragging about his mileage for the year. An old and slow guy like me that has 1,200 miles so far in an extremely wet and cold year (I don't ride in wet - particular in the cold since I had near falls on glare ice) you would think that Krygowski and Flunky would be nothing but bragging about theirs.

John does not ride bikes and likely never has. He is in his late 80's and probably uses crutches since geriatric medical care in Thailand is scarce.

Liebermann has already shown you that riding a mile on the flats is too much for him. Not that I blame him with the serious surgery he received for cancer. It is simply irritating that he talks about it like at one time he was a serious cyclist when every comment he makes shows he wasn't. Plus prostate cancer is usually slow growing and it would be very painful to ride on a racing type of saddle.

What they are causing is irreparable harm to the group which at one time had a following in the hundreds. Yes, mostly stupid Jobst Brandt worshipers, but they were actual cyclists.

Now, the largest part of the real riders are in Europe. I have been arguing against carbon fiber which is the material of choice for pro racers who don't have to pay for this at all, but my arguments are only to protect people like Lou who probably keeps a bike long beyond its due date. Thinking that if a bike hasn't catastrophically collapsed after the first year, it never will is ignoring a problem that I would rather not see him face. At 6:00 AM I took my pills that really screw up your short term memory and balance. Yesterday on the ride one of the really good riders wanted a fist bump, I tried to and nearly fell off of the bike as I took a swerve to the curb. I don't wish that on anyone. I used to be able to ride no hands around fairly sharp turns. Now I have to be careful riding with both hands.

So why would they be drowning out real conversations? Rather than tell you that I'm lying about being in the service, why wouldn't John simply look up my service record? 1961 to 1967 in case that is too difficult for him to enumerate. Maybe it burns him up that I received an automatic promotion to E4 on finishing my 6 year term?

Tom, you really seem to be a thoroughly miserable old man. Whatever you
do to search for happiness clearly isn't working. You need to try a
different tack.

Errr... No Tommy, Thailand has a very good national health system with
a large number of public hospitals which provide free medical care for
elderly Thai Citizens. I, being a foreigner, have to pay for my
treatment, a normal visit to, say my cardiologist, costs me about 50
baht (U.S $1.45) for the doctor plus the cost of any medicines
prescribed. Which is far lower then what you pay in the U.S..... far
lower.

"drowning out real conversations"?
Whatever are you talking about. You tell your lies, I, or someone else
point out that you are a lying piece of shit, and you don't reply.

I don't tend to 'brag' about my accomplishments unless prompted to do so. Unlike you, I don't need that kind of validation.

What causes harm to a cycling forum is the constant barrage of off-topic right wing political bullshit from you and that POS troll in ireland, and replies to on-topic discussions where you inexplicable diverge into a right wing political rant, Like here:

Q: What is the oldest stuff you use?
Tommy's answer: 12 sentences.
- One answered the question
- 2 were criticisms of bidens economic policies
- 3 were pandemic denials and related conspiracy theories
- 6 were lies about the war in Ukraine.

It's no wonder to any rational person why people tend not to participate

Are you perhaps trying to get my attention? No problem. Everything
you just wrote about me is wrong. I can itemize your mistakes and
provide corrections, but that's not what you want. You want
attention. Well, you've been noticed and I recognize you as being
99.999% wrong. Are you happy now?

Actually, attention isn't all that you want. Someone once asked you
what you wanted in RBT. You answered something like "to be recognized
for my achievements". That's a good answer and explains a few things.
You don't really want to be recognized for any positive achievements
and accomplishments. You want to be recognized for discovering the
failures and lack of accomplishments of others. That also seems to
extend to yourself as indicated by your daily announcements of your
latest bicycle related failures. None of your announcements would be
complete without you also mentioning all the things that went wrong.
You are your own worst critic and judge.

As if excessive self criticism isn't sufficient, you also exaggerate
your alleged accomplishments. I find that rather strange as the only
events you mention are at the extremes of self-aggrandizement and self
criticism, with nothing in between. The amazing feats that you so
proudly fabricate are conveniently balanced by your endless failures.
Are you feeling guilty about your obviously fake accomplishments? Or
do you feel guilty about being a compulsive liar and believe that fake
accomplishments will lift you out of endless despair? Worse, you also
lie and believe that nobody will notice. How could you possibly
believe that nobody will check if you had posted anything to the Quora
forum on cycling? How could you believe that nobody would notice the
overlapping dates on your resume? How could you believe that anyone
would trust your amazing facts when you never bother to provide a
source? Do you really believe that everyone accepts your word at face
value?

I could go on and offer suggestions on how you could redeem yourself.
I don't think it's necessary. You know what you're doing, what's
wrong, and what needs to be done. Stop lying and do some damage
control. That won't make you an authority or lord high priest of RBT,
but will certainly repair some of the damage you've done to your
reputation, self-respect, image, etc.

It is simply irritating that he talks about it like at one time he was a serious cyclist when every comment he makes shows he wasn't. Plus prostate cancer is usually slow growing and it would be very painful to ride on a racing type of saddle.

Rather than tell you that I'm lying about being in the service, why wouldn't John simply look up my service record? 1961 to 1967 in case that is too difficult for him to enumerate. Maybe it burns him up that I received an automatic promotion to E4 on finishing my 6 year term?
This just proved my point. I say that the stupid 4 are killing conversations and in the base page I see that there 5 comments. Since I can't see the stupid 4 those postings have to be from one or all of them. Probably all from Flunky since he is the drone of the group. Krygowski just likes to act like he is above it all.

Well Tommy, nobody has said that you were lying about being in the
service. As you state above.
So Lie Number 1

As for killing conversations? As I posted yesterday, You tell lies,
someone responds demonstrating you are lying and that is the end of
the conversation as you never reply... So stop telling lies Tommy.
