Paul asked what would happen if, instead of constantly accelerating
towards Tau Ceti (g=10m/s²), the rocket turned around halfway to offer
the same acceleration but in -g.
The goal, as we have understood, is to arrive in the Tau Ceti system with
a much more adequate speed than Vr=5.0245c (ie Vo=0.98076c).

So we have a journey that will last for the cosmonaut:
Tr=2.sqrt[(2.x/2)/g]=2467days

That is a trip that will last 6 years and 277 days.

For the terrestrial observer, this time the trip will last
To=Tr.sqrt(1+Vrm²/c²)

Vrm=x/Tr

To=5029 days

Thirteen years and 284 days.

Thank you for your attention.

R.H.

We americans from america are leaving capitalist america, a corporation,
not a country, as never before in history. Heading for Mexico, Nicaragua,
Venezuela, Brazil and other free countries. If capitalist america can't
inject us all to death, they are sending us to war in other countries.
