The notion of simultaneity of two events for a given observer is when the
two events occur at the same time. It is obviously very easy to
understand. Little Lina, who is four years old, understands this
definition very well.
Simply, is this notion of simultaneity absolute? Are two simultaneous
events in Paul's universe still simultaneous in Peter's universe? And if
they are not, why?
The relativists say that there is a relativity of simultaneity by change
of frame of reference (which I contradict). I say that there is relativity
of simultaneity by positional change in the same frame of reference (which
they contradict).
It is on the definitions that we no longer agree. They speak of a "plan of
the present time"; I refute. I speak of anisochrony; they don't believe
it.
Everything is only in the precision of the concepts.
The notion of relativity, it is acquired. It makes, or should make, at
least, a consensus.
