I am not the first person with this idea, the idea that biology creates engineering first and then long afterwards, humans create that same engineering. So for example, biology created harnessed electricity witness -- electric eels and than long afterwards humanity engineered electricity.

I had that idea in the mid 1990s, but I remember reading a post in Usenet by someone who had that same idea. So I cannot claim first discovery here, for it is apparent that this idea was extant and floating around in the halls and corridors long before I had the same idea.

Perhaps I am the first to write a book on this idea.

And the reason I write this book is to throw cold water on the stupid hot flames of fusion energy research, that time wasting stupidity and pork barrel fusion energy research.

There have been plenty of biology species that harnessed radioactive decay-- harnessed fission, for I recently read that some organism actually "eats" the radioactive element americium. And then of course the microbe of

We are seeing a flood of news about Fusion Engineering again. Pork barrel big science projects. AP says there will never be commercial fusion because breakeven is only 2/3 energy output of input costs. In other words breakeven is unattainable. AP wrote a book on this subject.

But this book is about the idea that if something can be created and engineered in living organisms, then humanity will eventually engineer the same. 
Organisms capitalized on fission energy as seen in radiotrophic fungi. Organisms built batteries-- electric eel, built radar and sonar before humanity..
Built power stations-- fireflies.
But no organism ever built-- that is evolved use of fusion of hydrogen to hydrogen to create energy. And the reason no biology evolution ever set into creating fusion energy, is because it just simple does not exist.
