Hi. Over the last few days I have witnessed what I and others have suspected for a long time, namely that WM is slowly losing his marbles, The events of the last three days, and especially today, make it clear that the process is nearing its grim conclusion.

It has been painful to watch, and from here on in it is going to be even more ghoulish. I don't want to have any further part in it. I will take a break from sci.math, because I take no pleasure from witnessing the process to its inevitable conclusion.

To all the regulars: Would the last one please turn out the light...

Arguing with Mückenheim on Usenet is pointless. What should be have done
for a long time is an open letter to Hochschule Augsburg from German
mathematicians and scholars in order to make sure he could not harm
students anymore.
