Preface: So far I am fortunate to live through a viral pandemic. I may not be able to say that once all the action and reaction is over with. The 1918 Pandemic of flu virus lasted just 2 years and disappeared as fast as it arrived. I and everyone else is still unclear as to why it disappeared so fast. But since I have this front row seat, the mind works in overtime on the subject, wanting answers. And the answers to me come in three books so far. There maybe more to come.

Now I first started this book with a recap of what I had thought before in the past, that viruses were deadly killers, and just parasites, causing death and cancer. These are notions most everyone has of viruses. But I have known from experience that something as widespread as viruses in _life_, that they must serve some beneficial purpose. And to make any accurate guess of the function and purpose of viruses, I had to read some literature first. And on March 3, 2020, I read 4 separate passages in Wikipedia on viruses. All 4 passages gave some strong indication that the virus being mostly just a coat and sack that the purpose of virus had to do with it being just a coat and sack. That gave my logical mind something to work with. If viruses were just coats and sacks, could it be that the function of viruses was to build the coat and sacks and linings and other structure of plants and animals? Could that be the purpose? Well that idea formed a hypothesis, and all I needed thereafter was find strong supporting evidence. That evidence came on March 4, 2020, with a research report long ago in 1963. With that strong evidence, my hypothesis instantly becomes a theory of viruses. Here is that report.

Alright I have new insights that are extremely important and need to add onto this book. Insights from the Covid 19 variants.

Alright, I have a question here that has escaped all the minds of all the biologists, even my mind. The question of whether -- when we overcome a virus attack and back to normal, does it mean that our body is totally free of the virus? Or does it mean that once we recovered from the viral attack, that the virus is just inside our body hiding somewhere and ready to strike us again, when the time is ripe.

This concerns the issue of Long Covid-19 where we have continual ailments.

I do know from past readings, that some viruses migrate to the liver and stay there permanently and flare-up now and then.

But in this question of mine-- following the main theme of the above published book of mine, the question is that a virus of a viral attack never fully leaves the body, for there are some viral particles that escape the white blood cells and permanently take refuge in our body.

Now there should be an easy proof of this idea, for I remember one winter in which I never departed home for any trip to town, yet caught a cold. The only other way of catching that cold was via the packages or mail I received for I had no contact.

And similarly, how does a astronaut catch a cold while in Space? Or how does the Antarctica residents catch a cold while down under in that frozen land?

So the question is--- most viruses once caught, they never fully leave that body, but are hiding in pockets of reservoirs of the body and spring forth when conditions return favorable to them.

And perhaps that is what the Delta and Omicron variants of Covid-19 are now in the midst of doing. They are looking for how to hide inside human bodies as permanent residents and to further evolve into more variants. They probably will try to hide in the lungs.

The word hepatitis means "inflammed liver". Once you catch the hepatitis virus, your liver constantly has the virus taking up permanent residence. Seldom does the body immune system get rid of the hepatitis virus, from the readings I have gathered over the years. People who caught hepatitis have periodic flare ups. This is why hepatitis is called "chronic".

So is Covid-19 and its variants going to be a permanent resident in millions perhaps billions of humans? Is the Long Covid going to be another chronic disease having millions hospitalized into the future?
