What was your wife commenting on? Is that the same wife who according to her husband is too lazy to do any homework or cooking? Look at the interaction with Marc Soler when they crossed the finish. The tactic of JV was to wear him out over the hard stages. They were convinced that Jonas Vingegaard would recover better. That is a tricky tactic and criticized by many and to be honest I scratched my head also several times but as it looks now it worked. JV approach is very scientific. The TT was discussed already in March. They have a special guy only for the TT.

Yeah, Lance Amstrong didn’t shake hands with Jan Ulrich when he waited after LA crashed when his handlebar was caught in some sort of strap of a spectator. Amstrong also didn’t backed off a bit when Beloki crashed. Yes those were the gracefull days.

Lou, you are reading criticisms where none are intended NO ONE is going to be a winner forever. They all have to learn to lose gracefully and Pogecar still needs to learn that.
