Looks like my riding will be curtailed to mild flat rides until the pulled muscle in my back heals. This is a terrible sort of injury that occurs once in awhile. I cannot stand upright until it heals and I walk around looking like a cripple. It has no effect at all on my riding other than long hard rides delays the healing process.

None of the normal pain killers has any effect on it just requires time.

Aleve doesn't make a dent in it. There was no effect from aspirin, tylenol or ibuprofen. I've had it before and it eventually goes away with riding. I can't feel any pain while riding.

Got up this morning and it is overcast and cold outside. The prediction is the overcast will last until noon. My back hurts and I don't want to go ride so today is canceled.
