Houthis again shot down a $65 million American drone (MQ-9), last night
(their local time) above one of their cities, with an even cheaper than
Shahed 136 Iranian designed ground to air missile. Same missile has been
shooting down American Navy's MQ-9s for a few years now.

The missile has an interesting story. It doesn't even have a name, and
was designed by Iranians some years back to help Houthis prevent the
Saudi aircraft and helicopters from indiscriminate bombing of them.

American and British navy that intercepted their disassembled form
several times, en route to Yemen, and stole them, called it "358" and
the name has stuck. But Houthis are now making their own and have their
own name for them.

I don't think the disassembled parts seized were complete though.
Iranians wouldn't place all the eggs in the same basket. So Americans I
think never got a complete picture of what it exactly could and could
not do, hence their losing a few of these MQ-9s to them, including this
last night one.

So this little thing has surprised a bunch of people. Hezbollah also
used two of them recently to destroy expensive Israeli drones. They
uploaded the filming of the destruction of the second one to social
media as well :)

Even Russians are reporting this.

So don't get fooled by the size and price of this little jewel. It does
the job. It is a novel design because it is something in between a
surface to air missile and a loitering missile like Shahed 136. So its
operation is quite different from SAM's. All you need is a piece of
information anywhere in a 100 km radius that some form of enemy aircraft
has been spotted in the sky. That's all it needs. It is then launched,
and it goes finds that aircraft by itself almost no matter how long it
takes cause it can stay in air and search for a long time. It finds the
target and destroys it by visual proximity explosion. Nothing else is
needed!

Every enemy's subsonically moving aircraft are easy targets for it. It
is launched like a Shahed 136 by a little solid fuel jet which then
detaches and its main fuel which is liquid gas powers it for a long time
to do its search.

So, cheaper than Shaheds, it is gruesomely lethal to enemy transport
planes, helicopters, drones, etc. Many Saudi's attack drones and
helicopters were shot down by them in Yemen during the later part of the
war between them, thus helping to bring that war to an end.

I don't know what the Navy was thinking to have their $65 million MQ-9
fly over Houthis AGAIN. Perhaps the previous ones met their demise
during daytime and Navy thought 358 cannot see in dark :) Hehe :)

But an important note. An Iranian official said today those Israeli
commanders that are reported resigning in the middle of war with Ghazans
are actually killed in action, and Israelis do not want to openly report
them dead.

If there's some substance to it (like some of the Iranian Israeli family
members of those having told them so), then if you ask me, anyone who
resigned got executed by Israeli military and secretly reported to their
families as "killed in action", but reported to their media as
"resigned", which would be a truthful statement, but not the whole

Also it's worth mentioning that after the Iranians' missile attack on
Israeli military targets, a whole bunch of additional countries around
the world have joined in ordering such weapons. A Kuwaiti news outlet
(Aljaridah) says they've increased their purchase orders dramatically
after that night, and that they know of another 15 countries who have
placed far more orders than Iran could meet the demand quickly.

So no wonder Iran seems to be shifting towards smaller, cheaper, and
faster to make devices. They want to sell them! :) And they want to be
able to meed the demand. You cannot create 3000 kheybarshekans a day for
your customers even if you hire NASA for it, but you can sure do that if
your customers want these "358" or this newer surface to surface version
of it, sold much, much cheaper.

There was a big boom selling Shaheds and other drones already before
that fateful night. Now it has gotten on another level. The Kuwaiti news
says they doubt Iran could meet the demand, but we'll see.

And curious as it is, it is only the militia's products that are being
sold to other governments around the world. The military stuff aren't

they are making for Iran herself. These newest ones are full of features

longer to make. The remaining older ones are also lined up to shoot
Israel with them again, if necessary.

But the little ones are pretty effective as well! Very cheap too. Very
easy to launch. You probably paid more for that fancy dream bicycle that
you bought, than you'd pay for a "358" that shot a $65 million device
down in pitched dark just the other night, for the nth time. Hence the
seeming move in the militia towards designing cheap little things that
are effective, for the purpose of selling them alongside Iran's own
defense. They can build thousands of them per day.

This coming week, we'll see if warrants for the arrest of Netanyahu and

will be issued or not. It is not just a political gesture. It will have
real consequences if they are issued. Think of Israel internally...

The title of the meeting and discussions have nothing to do with USA,

Biden has tried to pacify Iran by preventing recent decisions to further

there will be about Iran and whether they can come to terms in some way
with Iran as far as oil is concerned. Iran, in coming June, will most
probably take steps to make petrodollars history. But Saudis haven't
shown what they intend to do.

China almost have no dollars anymore, compared to how much they always
had in their reserves before. None of the trade between Russia and China
is today using dollars. As far as such trades are concerned, dollar
doesn't even exist. Iran, most probably, will seek similar trade systems
between her and any other country in the world, certainly with China and
Russia included.

Just 10 days back my folks in Iran told me Iranians had begun using a
debit card issued by Russian banks, and will begin using them instead of
cash. Nothing in that system has anything to do with dollar.

accepted important set backs. No doubt one of the results of the Saudi
held meetings. Somebody or some people there, convinced them and
Americans that they had no other choice for peace left. Not that

leave that to you to guess. When you don't send your politicians only,
but have your financial and bank people accompany them there, expect for
things to take a few steps forward.

It is not in the main media yet, but today Almayadeen channel disclosed
what agreements have at last been made. It doesn't say it that way, but
it is a form of peace agreement. So this shit is about to get over, and

The only point Israel gets in this agreement is that they'll get their
