Buying things off of Ebay is getting more and more difficult. They don't seem to have any idea of the geography of the US. The Shimano "Y" wire set was hung up in the Chinese postal system for a month and then they loaded it on a plane for - you got it - New Jersey. So not the USPS who aren't wild about Chinese packages anyway, will probably take more than a week to get it here. I have all of the wiring necessary to put the Ridley together and it now looks like it will continue to sit here looking really good but helpless. I suppose I could install the brake cables but my practice is to leave that for last on Di2 bikes. Less things to get in the way when you're trying to thread limp wires through the frame tubes.

Other items with supposed tracking on them get to the USA as "Arrived at Destination Hub" only to disappear for another several weeks and then turn up at the door without warning.

The good point is that they almost always get here because they don't want Ebay taking money away from them for non-delivery.

You can look at seller's location when you are buying and
that can make a huge difference in where you buy. Or not.

Usually I prefer to buy from American sellers but in this case you could only get them from Hongkong. So this wasn't a case of my buying from a New Jersey shop and them ordering the parts from China.

They must have an Y wire somewhere in the Bay area.

This is the version with the 550 mm lever connectors. I couldn't find it here. But the shops aren't carrying a lot of items anymore now that they're talking about taxing stock.

Order from Germany, my online supplier. All three types on stock. Should be on your doorstep within 2 weeks and you don’t have to deal with those communists. Win win.

That is half the price I paid from China and they tell me that I've done business with them before - Campagnolo carbon rim brake shoes. Too bad my memory is so screwed up from the damned anti-seizure medication. I'll put this one in the bookmark
