I didn't see the whole video, but for me the model is wrong.

1) It doesn't contemplate that the ball will not follow a curved path once it left the tubular guide.
The wall of the tube can be an analogy of a string that forces the ball to follow a circular path. Once the tube ends,
it should be considered that it's equivalent to the rupture of the string, which will force the ball to follow a tangential path.
The ball will never enter into the next tubular segment.

If you make enough tubular segments and reduce the gap between them, maybe it could work. Still, the ball would hit the
periphery of the tube entrance, and it will do so even with infinitesimal segmentation.

So, the vector composition is wrong.

2) It's not contemplated that the ball spins, and that such motion should be included as a stabilizing factor.
It's similar to what happens in a soccer game, when the player kicks the balloon with an effect that makes it spin while
going towards the target and describe some parabolic motion in the air. Or in a snooker table, when you give effect to the ball.

There are more things, but I think this is enough so you don't feel bad for not getting any answer.

I solved the gyroscope gravity counteracting torque problem. But it took a mathematical innovation to do so. I needed to invent an entirely new species of number: H. And what is H, you ask? H is the number defined by the property that its absolute value is equal to -1. Or in equation form |H| = -1. The number H was indispensable to the solution of gyroscopic counter gravitational torque problem.
