The more I delve into the issue of spoke length, the more I discover
inconsistencies in measurements and therefore inconsistencies in
calculations. I have hub measurements directly from Shimano on both
the new hub, fh-t610, and I just found data for the old discontinued
hub, fh-m590, in Shimano's archives. The website I've been using for
the rim data also has hub data and it does not match with Shimano, so
I wonder if that site's data for the rim is good. I'll measure it
myself when I get it disassembled.

I was tempted to order new spokes for the rebuild based on the
measurements from that website. Glad I didn't do that.

I'll do my own measurements on all the old wheel components when I get
it disassembled, and on the new hub when I get it. Then I'll plug the
measurements into a couple of spoke length calculator sites. I'll be
curious to see how the actual spoke length of the old wheel fits which
measurements, mine, the websites, or Shimano's.
