Well if you aren't competitive in one sex category you can be more competitive in another. It was my understanding that they had changed the rules to prevent this.

One might almost say Stupid (:-)
Disregarding sexual "fittings", males in about every biological
grouping are the larger and stronger of the two sexes, for perfectly
logical reasons. The fact that you grow your hair long and tell
people, "Oh! I feel just like a Girl" doesn't change the fact that the
male will have larger muscles and less fat, then the female. Thus
males, no matter what they call themselves will normally be stronger
and more capable of physical activities then females.

Actually, most of us in the USA believe that gender is a biological
evaluation and oppose the proliferation if men into women's athletics
and women-only places. It's only a few far left fruitcakes that have
been making all the noise. I believe it starting to quiet down and go
back to normal.

To give you an idea of how deep this goes, my middle step-daughter and her husband - a middle school math teacher in Sacramento, discovered that their adopted 3 year old loved seeing ballet and so dressed him in a tutu rather than explain that men also dance ballet. They have all sorts of weird beliefs such as vegetarianism and such. She just passed her PhD for physical therapy and has a masters in classical piano.

Biden's inflation has ruined their finances and yet they are pure Democrat to the very center. As is my brother who had to move to Reno to buy a house and then the inflation has forced him out of retirement to be able to live on his retirement pay. He doesn't like it when i mention that Gavin Loathsome is running a deficit with HIS retirement funds and he is giving money to illegals as old veterans are being evicted. The response is about to boil over in every place other than California which is dying under the tax and regulation burdens.

Sporting bodies certainly have been regulating UK seems more strict than
most, ie all competitions not just professional. And it clearly was
overreach and all that.
