The problem with evolution is that everyone looks at
the results -- take us "Modern" humans, for example --
and just kind of views it as a foregone conclusion.

I often express this as the "Linear" model of evolution,
the inexorable march from the small & simple to the
large & complex...

It's taken me YEARS but I've finally got some people --
and I do mean "Some" -- that at least grasp what I say
when I tell them that the Ape evolved from us, the
Chimp evolved from the Homo line and not the other
way around.

THIS MAY (likely) ALSO BE TRUE OF GORILLAS!

Chimps evolved to be MORE Chimp like, LESS human
like since their split, which was certainly a lot more
recent than "Science" likes to describe...

The way evolution is taught is like an apple falling off
the tree. See, there's a tree -- an apple tree -- and it grows
an apple. Then this apple eventually falls off, rolling
some distance one presumes, and from it another tree
springs up.

The apple is nothing more than a seed pod, right?

But that's NEVER how evolution works, and it's certainly
NOT how it could have ever worked for the human line.

Or the chimp line for that matter.

You have to change your thinking. You have to seek out
DIFFERENT ideas, "Weird" or even "Alien" perspectives, or
at least perspectives that seem alien to you, in order to
grasp the possibilities.
