Well.

If all goes well, the rocket will accelerate steadily, at 10m/s², and I
will cross interstellar space at faster and faster speeds.

It's going to be a beautiful fireworks display when I get there. I'm going
to finish on a high.

I calculated that it will take me 12.915 years to get there and with a
real speed of 5.0245c (v=0.980c)

Note a funny thing, you know that when I get there, it will make a big
boom, and I will produce a considerable kinetic energy, and yet my
observable acceleration of the earth will only be 7.44 cm / s²

It's amazing, right?
