NASA is probably mumbling...fuck, we gotta change the age of the
universe before we release
any more
james-webb-space-telescope pictures.

The science news headlines will read: Surprise: The age of the universe
is older than We thought.

Or, ...the big bang never happened.

But there is no end to these galaxies.

They would have to add like an amount of years that will require to
build another telescope.

What number will they come up with now, ...

How about 24 billions years?

How about 34 billions years?

How about 54 billions years?

I say a trillion years.

2 trillion.

But, I seen their latest pictures...the galaxies looked too formed to be
anywhere near 14.5 billions years.

They look like they have been around...much, much longer than that.

54 billions years won't cut the mustard.

3 trillion maybe..or more.

Perhaps you are not smart enough to notice, but this group is about relativity. It is not about cosmology nor astronomy and especially not about anti-science rants.

Spam reported.
I incite others to do the same.

Before the big bang there weren't any ...galaxies.

The big bang was the beginning of the formation of stars into
galaxies.

So that means
james-webb-space-telescope
has to show pictures of
stars everywhere..
without galaxies.

How far back will that be?

Let me ask the easiest question responsive to your
statement. How many big bangs were there?

Can you be certain of any number between 0 and infinity
while including those limits?

Flesh out your reply giving sufficient details to convince
the readers.

Given we are certain that everything has a beginning and an end,
if your answer to the above is zero, what mechanism led to the
creation of matter and energy that yielded the universe we presently
know and enjoy.

Enjoy? Well, most of us.

I wrote above "before the big bang" NOT 'before the big bangs'...
so the answer is obvisouly...one.

La femme veut, le Dieu veut.

*NOT* Starmaker's wish is God's command.

Dunning-Kruger exemplified.

We can be certain that there was at least one Big Bang as we are observing
it to happen.

(Surprised?) That is because “Big Bang” in cosmology means something
different from what most laypeople think it means: It actually just
means the expansion of our universe/space.

This is a matter of observational, objective evidence; not a matter of
opinion.

Still nothing of value. What we are observing has a number of possible
underpinnings, you've not made the case for "big bang" being the only
one. You would have to understand and exclude all other possibilities.

Argue with Arindam Banerjee who claims the universe had no beginning
and is infinite in size. I no longer read his postings but I wish you
luck in that endeavor should you undertake it. And if you wish to
prove your point, you'll have to overcome his objections as well as
those of all other comers. It is likely you cannot achieve that goal
in your lifetime.

There is no discussion to be had whatsoever when one party (you) lies
about the claim(s) you made. Here is a copy from your prior posting,
your words.

"We can be certain that there was at least one Big Bang as we are
observing it to happen.

"(Surprised?) That is because “Big Bang” in cosmology means something
different from what most laypeople think it means: It actually just

The message ID for the quotation is <2645289.mvXUDI8C0e@PointedEars.de>

No further discussion between us. Bye.

I am not lying. You simply cannot read comprehensibly.

Thanks, but that was unnecessary. *I* know what I wrote (and how I meant
it).

No problem. I *clearly* wrote “at least one”, which means (not only in my
book) “one or more”. You understood “exactly one” instead, which is not
equivalent to that.

So *you* made the mistake.

Go back to PRIMARY school and relearn the meaning of “n ≥ 1”, in words:
“at least one”. Hint: This relation is not only true for n = 1.

Expansion of the universe is slower than "light years" standard; so to get
where it is at it has to be older.

Just because you lay claim to having PointedEars
don't think for a second you can play the guitar

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9AAHWHvIJU

let alone play expert about anything, certainly
not logic, or science, or actually fool the
better class of readers in physics newsgroups.

Wozniak was only half right on a superficial
aspect, there is only one Kook present in this
discussion, and only one trying his best to
"fight," that being PointedEars.

It isn't a fight when one person, PointedEars
attempts, yet fails, all on his own, to best
his superior.

No partial credit, Wozniak, and you're still in
my killfile. After all this nonsense it appears
that PointedEars is well on his way to join you.

I won't promise though, because that would
probably go to his head as is the usual case
with desperate people.

Your irony detector is borked.

Also, I can’t help it if you are too stupid to understand the difference
between “at least one” (which I wrote), and “(exactly) one” (which I did
NOT write), and stupid enough to think that this failure of yours would
actually make you superior in any way.

So, if NASA continues with big-bang-didnt-happen-

then that means they will need to change the age of the universe.

I guess any number will do, right? It sure will not be based on
Science.

What do science guys know about science????

I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know,
