Well there's a difference between not-caring-about-money and not
expecting to be regularly provided for at all times.

My girlfriend doesn't expect to be regularly provided for, but certainly
cares about money! She's not the type of person to care if her man
drives a modest car or expensive car.

But if he drove a $40,000 car and asked her to spot him a hundred bucks
outside a dire emergency she'd simply point to the car and say dryly
"$40,000 car" and leave it at that, she's a New Englander after all...

I do cabinet doors, curtain rods, toilet seats, things of that type. Not
much call to fix the home electronics owned by most millennials these
days, there's not much of it that's worth fixing. But it is a side
benefit I agree.

I met Mo at a gay bar. She told me that her MG Midget was running bad,
so we went outside to see. It was idling at 3000 RPM, which took
seconds to fix with my swiss army knife.

I just fixed a loose lamp socket on a cool old Tiffany lamp, with
Bondic. Great stuff for quick repairs. The LED bulbs don't get hot,
which makes using adhesive sensible.

Women have no use for engineers except to marry them.
