240th book of science by AP

Parametric Equations of Old Math were phony props, to bolster up the fact that only Polynomials are true functions of mathematics.

And so when practitioners of math call a function which is fakery and need to graph it, they break that phony and fake function into parts trying to converge on a polynomial.

For example in Stewart 2003 "Calculus": on page 654 looks at the fake function x = y^4 - 3 y^2 and Stewart breaks that down into a parametric of y= t and x = t^4 -3t^2.

So, at the start x = y^4 - 3y^2 is not a function in New Math. However Y = x^4 -3x^2 is a function for it is a polynomial, but it is not the same as X = y^4 - 3y^2.

And the exercise that Stewart goes through in obtaining what he calls a Parametric equation, is simply the exercise that Stewart is a failure to recognize that only polynomials as functions exist. And so when Stewart runs into a equation that is not polynomial, he wiggles and squeezes out parametric equations that are polynomial.

The entire exercise of fetching Parametric equations is to make hideous ugly nonfunctions turned into polynomials.

Now in some cases like that of many trigonometry equations, they should have been turned into a polynomial over an interval using the Lagrange transform, but then many such are turned into more fake functions like Stewart's example on page 652 of x^2 + y^2 = 1 where Stewart calls that a parametric equation of x= cos(t) and y = sin(t).

But in general, the exercise of looking for and finding parametric equations in Old Math is because of the blindness of the person in never realizing that the only functions in true mathematics are Polynomials. And this seeking parametric equations is a substitute for not finding the Lagrange transformation of a given nonfunction over a prescribed interval as a polynomial.

Now I realize that this-- what I am about to say --- does not constitute a proof that parametric equations are simply fake props.

Statement: I notice that never is it required to turn a polynomial equation into a parametric equation. Never required.

That is not a proof that parametric equations are fakery. But it is lending support to the idea.

And where parametric equation are most often encountered are the odious and hideous trigonometry so called functions. For trigonometry in math calculus is a viral disease pandemic run unchecked.

Why should any true function of math, have to be broken into parts in order to manage that function? The answer is simple and clear, the given function is invalid as a function. It is not a function but some b.s. offering. And unless the person offering the b.s. transforms it into a Lagrange transform into a polynomial over an interval, then the offering is junk and fakery.. This is where Old Math has the entrance of "parametric equations". They are too lazy to tranform the b.s. offering into a polynomial, and that is why they then bring in the parametric laz-e-boy recliner to try to overcome the original fetid offering. And thus, not having to admit their original offering is a slab of pure unadulterated piece of shit.

(I guess I am going to have to tone this one down to get it published)!

Now on page 422 of Fisher & Ziebur "Calculus and Analytical Geometry" 1965, 2nd edition they discuss parametric equations and propose parametric equations for the equation x^(2/3) + y^(2/3) = a^(2/3).

And this is typical Old Math, where instead of making math easy for students, they go into making math be almost impossible to understand. For x^(2/3) + y^(2/3) = a^(2/3) is not a function and even if it were cut in half to qualify as a function to use in Calculus, why bother with trigonometry parametric equations, which is too difficult for students. But, rather instead convert the cut in half function to a polynomial and then the derivative or integral is as simple as a application of the Power Rules.

The Power Rules exist, and are so so easy to use because the only real valid functions of mathematics are polynomials.

The only drawback is that when converting to a polynomial, is an approximation. But I rather take a approximation any day, than I would accept stupid theory that is fakery and difficult to comprehend.

So here I am bounded above and bounded below in a proof.

The proof that only polynomials are valid functions and thus parametric equations were just criminal aid and abetting criminal fake functions.

The bounded below is the fact that no polynomial ever needs parametric equations as a help.

The bounded above is the fact that all polynomials in calculus are the easiest Calculus derivative and integral to ever perform.

The derivative or integral of a fake function like any of those trigonometry monsters-- well, you cannot apply the power rules. But a polynomial function, the derivative and integral are as easy as add subtract multiply and divide.

That ease of computation is no proof that Polynomials are the only functions valid in mathematics, but is sure a supporting evidence of such.

And one can go through almost every subject matter of Old Math and find pockets of what I call "math teacher security" at the expense of teaching fake math that makes students scared and fearful of math.

Parametric equations is a prime example of math education that is a con-art and not true math at all.

Because if it is taught, that the only true functions in all of mathematics are polynomials. Then there never is a need for a mindless math professor to teach parametric equations. Why teach parametric equations when the only functions that exist are polynomials which never need to be parametric.

So, what if we went through all of math education and throw out the con-art fakery, which is a lot of math as one can witness in my book Mathopedia. Then what happens is that a student can learn all of true math if they had a will and desire to do so.

But when math is full of con-art like parametric equations, then, yes, you need a hypocrite math professor stuffing this con-art down the innocent minds of young students.

In my teaching math series of textbooks-- TEACHING TRUE MATHEMATICS, any student with self motivation can learn all the math they will ever need in life, including those becoming physicists or engineers. Without ever a math professor polluting their young innocent minds with con art like-- parametric equations, Reals, limit analysis, continuum, primes, rationals, irrationals, complex numbers, Topology, manifolds, Green-Stokes theorems and thousands of other con-art that infests modern day math classes.

It is so sad, that many students who graduate in mathematics, need a detoxification center to get their "minds back" after all the pollution and brainwash. (Of course, I need to tone this down to publish, but I also need to get it off my chest.)
